Natural Star Nani is movies always have separate fan base. This year one of the luckiest year for him. With Dasara, he has come out of his comfort zone and tired rustic character for the first time. In December Nani came up with the family drama Hi Nanna. This film was supposed to release on Dec 22nd earlier but due to last minute date announcement of Salaar, it was preponed to Dec 8th. Expectations on this emotional drama were extremely low and it was released a week after the gigantic blockbuster ANIMAL. People were still in the hangover of Animal, but it managed to become a super hit because of its emotional story line, beautiful music and extraordinary performance from Lead actors. The role of Viraj played by nani can be placed in the list of best performances of this year. Normally, this kind of movies perform well in urban centers, but Hi Nanna came at a time when mass films were ruling the roost. Yet the Shouryuv directorial Hi Nanna opened with unanimous positive talk and became a super hit at box office.
