Mahesh babu fans are not happy with the selection of Thaman as a music director for ‘GUNTUR KARAM’ because of his most underwhelming background score and songs for “sarakaru vari pata”. But the director Trivikram Srinivas has immense trust in the capabilities of Thaman and selected Thaman as music director as they both deliver outstanding albums in the form of ‘ALA VAIKUNTAPURAM LO.’ All the fans have waited for the song’s release and the ‘DUM MASALA’ song has passed the test and satisfied most of the song. As per few fans, the song was not great when compared to ‘ALA VAIKUNTAPURAM LO’ first single so eagerly waiting for the second single.
Finally, the second song, ‘Oh My Baby,‘ was released and faced severe criticism, not just from fans but from the entire music lovers. The lyrics in the album were openly criticized. To be honest, some lines in those lyrics were of such poor quality that even an inexperienced writer would hesitate to write them. The team is not in the mood to take the negativity. considering this song to be the weakest in terms of both composition and writing, for a star of Mahesh Babu’s stature. In fact, “he is so cute” songs stand out even more when compared with this song.
It is an undeniable fact that Thaman has a huge responsibility before him to compose at least one chartbuster song to keep the buzz of the film high. Let’s hope the remaining song will meet the expectations of music lovers and prove those who are doubting the capabilities of Thaman are wrong, showcasing that Thaman is indeed the right choice for the movie.
