Golconda Fort:

Built by the kakatiya dynasty in the year 1143, Golconda is renowned for the diamond mines back in the day. It is open from 9AM to 5:30PM daily and the entrance fee is 20 rupees for locals and 200 rupees for foreigners. One can spend 2 to 3 hours exploring the entire fort and it’s worth your time. Make sure you don’t miss the evening light and sound show which will be so much fun.
Hussain Sagar Lake:

It is one of the largest man-made lakes in Asia and an amazing tourist spot in Hyderabad. You can see the famous Buddha statue which is installed on a small island called the Rock of Gibraltar. You can enjoy a boat ride, panoramic views of the city or you can also take a leisure walk either early morning or in the evening.
Chowmahalla Palace – Hyderabad:

Chowmahalla means four palaces and their names are Tahniyat Mahal, Mahtab Mahal, Aftab Mahal, and Afzal Mahal. “Bara Imam” is the main attraction here which is like a long corridor. Another main attraction here is the Khilwat Clock in the clock tower, which is known to be 250 years old and still working perfectly. The chowmahalla palace is open from 10AM to 5PM on all days except Fridays and national holidays. The entry fee is 80 rupees for locals and 200 rupees for tourists. There’s an extra 50 rupees fee to carry cameras inside.
Statue of Equality – Hyderabad:

The statue of Equality which opened recently in February 2022 is a beautiful work of art. It is the statue of 11th century philosopher Ramanuja Acharya. This 216 feet statue is the second tallest sitting statue in the world. A must visit place to experience the grandeur and the peaceful enrichment of the 108 small temples in the premises. No mobile phones are allowed inside. There’s a food court as well if you feel hungry. It takes a good 3 hours to explore the entire place.
Ramoji Film City:

The world’s largest film city in the world spread over 1666 acres is a spectacular getaway and a must visit place in Hyderabad. Every year over 200 films are shot at this film city. It’s a must visit place for movie lovers as you get to explore all the locations where your favorite movies were shot. There’s also a paid bus tour where there will be a guide who will narrate about every spot throughout the tour. It’s totally worth it. There are so many other things to explore in this film city like Live shows, Amusement parks and restaurants. You can also stay in 3 or 4 star hotels in the film city to explore more if you have 2 or 3 days time.
Qutub Shahi Tombs:

This one is located close to another best spot in Hyderabad i.e. Golconda fort. It is known for the seven tombs which were once nominated as UNESCO’s world heritage site. They represent a blend of Indian and Persian architecture styles. You can enjoy the peaceful nature and greenery surrounding this place and get some clicks as well.
Hyderabad Nehru Zoological Park:

One of the largest zoological parks in India, built over 316 acres with more than 200 animal species. A great place to visit and spend 3 or 4 hours. Ticket price is Rs.60 per person during weekdays and Rs.75 per person during weekends. There’s also a natural history museum which you can visit here. They also offer various safari options and you can have fun with your family and friends.
Birla Mandir:

It’s a must visit temple in Hyderabad. It’s in the middle of the city and on a 280 ft tall hill with a pleasant view and vibe. The best time to visit is in the evening during sunset. It’s also located close to the other best spot in Hyderabad i.e. Hussain sagar. You can not only worship Venkateswara Swamy here but also enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city after your darshan.
Hyderabad Botanical Gardens:

One of the best parks in Hyderabad is the Botanical Gardens located near Gachibowli. It’s built in 270 acres of land with a lot of greenery, various different plants and 3 kilometers of walking and running track. A lot of families come here every day and enjoy the peaceful environment and the natural beauty. You also get food and beverages as well inside the garden and enjoy a good time with your family and friends and don’t miss seeing the peacocks.
